ABOUT

Amy Rogness Ris,

Infant & Early Childhood Development Consultant

& Parenting Educator

Amy has spent more than 20 years supporting children and families, with a career rooted in early intervention and a deep passion for helping parents feel confident and connected. She began her work supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder in home and school settings, before transitioning into infant development after becoming a parent herself.

Today, Amy is the Assistant Director of Early Years programs at the Developmental Disabilities Association (DDA), where she continues to advocate for children and families. She has a special heart for supporting families of neurodiverse children, including those with ADHD, FASD, and ASD, and provides private parent coaching to help families navigate challenges with greater confidence and kindness.

Amy is a Registered Circle of Security Parenting Facilitator, leading both individual and group programs (including a group designed specifically for dads), and currently serves as President of the Western Canada Association for Infant Mental Health (WCAIMH).
