ABOUT
Amy Rogness Ris,
Infant & Early Childhood Development Consultant
& Parenting Educator
Amy has been supporting children and young families for the past 20 years! She started in the field of early intervention supporting children with a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder (in home and school settings). After the birth of her own son, she then transitioned to working as an infant development consultant in a program designed to administer developmental screenings for children currently in care of the ministry, from birth to age 6. She is now the Coordinator and clinical supervisor of that program. Amy continues to have a heart for supporting families of children with neurodiversity (including FASD, ADHD, & ASD) & provides parent coaching privately. She is also a Registered Circle of Security - Parenting Facilitator, often running this program in group settings (including a group just for dads!) & individually. Amy is the current President of The Western Canada Association for Infant Mental Health (WCAIMH).
